Accessing the Build Step 1 Subcomponent processing screen

The Build - Step 1 of 2 Subcomponent processing screen is accessed in the following manner:

1	Click the Build button at the bottom-right corner of the screen.

2	The Build - Step 1 of 2 Subcomponent processing screen appears.
3	Continue with selecting the Subcomponent processing options

Layout of the Build Step 1 Subcomponent processing screen

The Build - Step 1 of 2 screen displays:

Process search index check box	Selects the Search Index generation processing. By default this will be checked. File types supported when generating search index: .PDF .HTML .txt All other files types will utilize their native application search feature.
Process button	Starts processing the search words
Status indicators	Indicators are dynamically updated as the processes are executed.
Status indicator reference table	Indicators are defined as: Green, process complete. Blue, process in progress. White, process not selected or not available for execution. Yellow, queued for processing that has yet to begin. Red, processing error encountered.
Progress text box	Displays the running progress as each subcomponent processing function is executed.
Command buttons	Buttons are defined as: Cancel - Used to abort the subcomponent processing operations, and unloads the build wizard. Back - In Step build wizard this button will be disabled Next - This button is used to go to step 2 of Build functionality. Build - This button will be disabled in Step 1 Build functionality.

Completing the Subcomponent processing

On the Build - Step 1 of 2 screen, make the following selections:

Click the Process search index check box to generate a search index when the Process button is clicked.

Click the Process button. If PDF files are included in the bookset, a message indicating the length of time appears.

The Progress list box displays the search words being generated. The Search index status indicator displays the current status of the search generation. A successful processing of the search words displays a green "Completed" status indicator and the following message:

Click the Next button to continue to the Build - Step 2 of 2 Build screen.
